Susanna joined Tunefoolery in 1995 as a pianist and as the Communications Coordinator, performing in an Early Music quartet and accompanying vocalists. She began studying piano with her mother at age seven and later learned trumpet and French horn, though piano remained her primary passion. In 2011, she stepped away from Tunefoolery to teach piano to young children and pursue her music studies, completing 99 credits toward a B.A. in Music. Drawn back by the warmth and community of Tunefoolery's coffeehouses, she returned in 2026 and now accompanies a singer while also performing solo. Her musical interests span classical, jazz, and spirituals, and she looks forward to continuing her education through guitar and vocal lessons. Outside of music, Susanna enjoys crafting, composing, playing Native American flute, and interior design.
