Bass

Sam began studying the bass at age 13, playing in jazz bands, pit orchestras and combo groups later into his teenage years. Sometime later he took a break from playing but returned to the bass in 2009, while also joining Tunefoolery that same year. He finds inspiration in jazz and blues legends like Charles Minges, as well as big band, funk and singer/songwriter musicians. He hopes to one day expand his musical abilities and knowledge by taking vocal training. Sam takes pride in his job as a certified peer specialist, and in his free time he enjoys watching movies and seeing live music.
