Mike Joyce joined Tunefoolery in 1994. In the 60’s he began playing the accordion, which he learned from his father who was a well-recognized accordion player. A decade later he picked up the guitar and singing after finding inspiration in artists like Bob Dylan and The Beatles. He enjoys playing authentic Irish music, oldies rock, country-western and senior tunes. Mike strives to constantly learn new music and has recorded frequently in Tunefoolery's recording studio. He also hopes to one day be in the Massachusetts Irish Hall of Fame for Irish music, like his father.
