Jens Rybo, Executive Director Jens Rybo has directed Tunefoolery since 2000, but started working with the program in 1994, as an intern. As the overseer of Tunefoolery, his job description covers everything from backing up Tunefoolery musicians, to fundraising and supervising the staff. Originally from Gothenburg, Sweden, he spent his twenties playing in rock bands and managing a record company. As he decided to pursue a career in the mental health field, he was thrilled to discover Tunefoolery where his passion for music and mental health recovery could be combined. Jens is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and has a B.A in Psychology and a M.A in Counseling Psychology from Lesley College. In addition to working with Tunefoolery, he has a private practice as a psychotherapist and plays guitar and sings in the band Tail. |

Jeff Fisher, Development Manager As Director Coordinator, Jeff is responsible for helping with fundraising, managing the donor base, and writing grants as well as writing thank you letters for the donors. He joined Tunefoolery as a musician in 2001 and became the Development Coordinator in 2003. Jeff studied classical saxophone at New England Conservatory but currently focuses on playing the guitar, piano and singing. |

Eugene M., Office Manager As Office Manager, Eugene is responsible for payroll and bookeeping. He joined Tunefoolery in 2012 as an accordion player and became the Office Manager in 2014. Eugene has been taking weekly accordion lessons for the last seven years and is a part of the Massachusetts Accordion Club. He is also working toward becoming a Certified Peer Specialist. |

Maya Mortman, Booking Manager
As booking manager, Maya is responsible for booking gigs for the many talented musicians at Tunefoolery. She studied at Berklee College of Music and holds a BA in English and French from Skidmore College. Maya has been performing for over ten years in groups ranging from bluegrass to jazz to alternative theater. She currently tours with a rock band, Future Teens. She volunteers with Girls Rock Campaign Boston and serves as the musician lead for Wild Woman Fest with the Wild Woman Project. |

Mali Sastri, Music Coach Mali Sastri is a singer, songwriter, performer and registered Voice Movement Therapy practitioner. She trained with Paul Newham, Anne Brownell, and Christine Isherwood in London, UK from 1999 – 2001, and qualified as a professional member of the International Association of Voice Movement Therapy in 2011. Mali maintains a private VMT practice, working with individuals and groups in Somerville, MA. Mali writes, sings, performs and tours with her chamber rock band, Jaggery, and curates a performance event series called Org in the Boston area, bringing together musicians, dancers, filmmakers, visual artists, and storytellers. She resides at the South End artist co-op, Cloud Club. |

Kelly H., Counselor / Performance Coach Kelly H. has made an interesting and rewarding career combining her love of acting with her passion for the healing arts. Kelly uses the creative process as a tool to foster awareness, insight, and change with her clients. As a coach, teacher, and therapist, she works with artists, businesses, human service organizations, and anyone simply wishing to discover their potential and live a meaningful life. Kelly holds a masters degree in Counseling Psychology and is also a Reiki Master teacher. |

Adam Sherman, Music Coach Vocalist, guitarist, performer, songwriter Adam Sherman teaches music with passion and imagination. His knowledge gained over thirty years of professional experience is shared openly with students. A six-time Boston Music Awards nominee, Adam was the voice of A&M recording artists Private Lightning and lead singer and songwriter of The Souls. Adam joined Tunefoolery in September or 2016. He teaches guitar, voice, songwriting, and performance skills. |
