|Fern Fisher (Chair)
Fern has been on the Tunefoolery board as the Chair since 2009. Currently, Fern works as an Instructional Math Coach for a Cambridge Public Elementary School. In her spare time, she sings and plays electric bass in a Folk/Rock trio. She also finds inspiration through her involvement with the creative, courageous, compassionate, and optimistic people at Tunefoolery.
|Hannah Davidson (Secretary)
Hannah has been on the board as the secretary since 2009. She is also currently on the board of the Viola da Gamba Society of New England, serving as a board member from 1996 to 2006, President from 2006 to 2010, and now continues as the newsletter editor. Hannah joined Tunefoolery in 2004 as a musician and is also currently enrolled at Longy School of Music as a candidate for a Master of Music in Early Music.
Fran has been on the Tunefoolery board since 2012. She currently leads the fundraising committee. Fran has served on several other boards, including the Broomstones Ladies Curling Club in Wayland, MA, and the New School of Music in Cambridge. Fran is the President and Principal Researcher of her own consulting business, which does education research and evaluation work, with a focus on the implementation of school improvement efforts at the national, state and local levels.
|Cate Solomon M.S.W., Ph.D
Cate joined Tunefoolery’s board in 2015. She served on several other boards including, Southern Jamaica Plan Health Center, MA National Association of Social Workers and Cambridge Family Services HeadsUp Mentor Program. Cate is currently in the Director of Student Services at Boston University School of Social Work. In her free time she sings with the Greater Boston Community Choir (GBIC), enjoys making mosaic jewelry, kayaking and has been known to make natural juice jell-O creations.
Peter has been on the Tunefoolery board since 2009. He works as an electronic engineering manager at Qualcomm, Inc., a maker of WiFi chips. Peter lives in Somerville, home of the HONK! Festival, and loves music of many kinds. He plays saxophone occasionally, and also gardens and helps raise a couple of wonderful kids. Peter is honored to be present for the people and community of Tunefoolery, with all its honesty and creativity.
|Alana Martin M.B.A
Alana began volunteering for Tunefoolery in 2011 and joined the board in 2014. She works as freelance web developer, manages Tunefoolery’s technology, and recently redesigned Tunefoolery’s website. Alana is studying Jazz guitar at New England Conservatory of music. In her spare time she enjoys learning to sail on the Charles River.
